Nigeria’s fast-evolving tech ecosystem is set for a major disruption with the debut of People, Product & Code (PPC), an innovation-driven fair designed to bridge the gap between tech talent, startups, and industry stakeholders.

The inaugural edition holds on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Lagos.

Unlike conventional tech conferences dominated by long speeches and panel discussions, PPC positions itself as a hands-on marketplace for opportunities.

The event directly addresses two pressing challenges in Nigeria’s digital economy: the discovery of skilled talent and the visibility of promising startups.

“This is about creating a marketplace where innovation and opportunity meet—where startups can showcase, talent can shine, and businesses can connect in real time,” explained Omobolanle Antonia Ayoola, founder and CEO of People Advisor Limited and convener of PPC.

The platform will attract over 1,000 participants, including developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and students. More than 50 software companies will exhibit, while over 30 universities and innovation hubs are expected to engage.

Key features include live job interviews to test real skills beyond résumés, startup product showcases, a hackathon spotlighting developer problem-solving abilities, and a pitch corner for early-stage businesses to access investors and mentors.

Ayoola, a seasoned HR professional and tech entrepreneur, said her vision for PPC stems from her passion for building equitable systems that merge social theory with business practice. Through People Advisor Limited—her consulting-as-a-service firm providing HR, finance, and growth solutions to startups—she has championed initiatives that strengthen Africa’s innovation landscape.

Backed by partners such as Burge Africa and Xttreme LLC, PPC seeks to become the launchpad for Nigeria’s next wave of innovation by combining product visibility, hiring pipelines, and investor opportunities in one space.
