Nigerian video director ThankGod Omori Jesam, popularly known as TG Omori has responded to the backlash he received after making a comment on Christianity.

The director who spoke about Christians living in fear, on his X handle, was called names by some users. They claimed that TG Omori was pushing a religious narrative despite the support he has received from people of other religions.

”I hate how it took the international community to stand up against the killings in our backyards. How bad has it really gotten? It’s not the wish of God that millions of Christian live in fear and prayers alone is not enough at this point,” he wrote.

One user @umaribrahim then responded, questioning Omori’s opinion while calling him names.

”I’ve never thought the day will come that I’ll go this berserk on anyone. But TG OMORI YOU ARE A SKUM. A FILTH THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE. NATURE AND FATE LOST IT ESSENCE THE DAY NIGERIANS, INCLUDING MUSLIMS, STOOD BY YOU,” he wrote.

TG Omori then responded to the backlash, noting that his opinion is not a religious propaganda. He also added that his time and upbringing in Lagos made him open minded and not bias to religion or tribe.

”Muslims, Christians, traditionalists we all need to speak up everyday for our brothers worshipping in fear and getting killed!. Not until today I never really knew there is really this much religious hate going on. Growing up in Lagos where everyone lived as one really shaped us. God forbid the things in my comment section,” he wrote.
