Darey Art-Alade finally spills truth about his wife

Nigerian singer and showbiz entrepreneur, Darey Art-Alade, has revealed how he and his wife, Deola, have successfully balanced both their marriage and professional lives over the years.

Speaking in a recent interview, the 43-year-old music star explained that their partnership was born out of deep friendship, which gradually evolved into a working relationship that has kept them grounded.

According to Darey, while he focuses on creative direction, his wife manages the business side of their brand.

“We always just do things together. Once you enjoy each other’s company and admire each other, everything flows. She even opened my social media accounts for me back when I was still just an artiste. That is the level of friendship we had,” he said.

Darey noted that although Deola is also a creative at heart, they naturally complemented each other by switching roles where necessary.

“We just cross-pollinated. I learn a lot from her and she picked up so much about entertainment, which wasn’t her natural space,” he added.

The award-winning artiste stressed that their success was not instantaneous but the result of years of learning, understanding, and teamwork.

“We both learned along the way and continued to grow stronger, working to each other’s strengths and covering each other’s weaknesses. One person cannot do everything. It’s both of you against everybody else,” he explained.
