Breaking: Diddy, children storm courtroom as sentencing begins

Sean “Diddy” Combs has arrived in court for what is expected to be a marathon sentencing hearing, with his family in attendance.

The 55-year-old music mogul, who has looked a shadow of his flamboyant self throughout the trial, appeared in simple clothes — a button-down shirt, sweater, slacks, and lace-free shoes, as allowed by the judge. His once jet-black hair now grey, Diddy cut a subdued figure as he prepared to hear his fate.

His daughters, Chance, D’Lila, and Jessie, were seen arriving moments earlier, joining their grandmother Janice Combs who has been a constant presence in the courtroom. Reuters photos captured the family walking in with somber faces.

The hearing will see legal teams argue over how long Combs should spend behind bars. At least four of his lawyers are set to speak, along with Diddy himself. A key testimony is also expected from a woman who appeared at trial under the pseudonym “Mia.”

Dozens of letters from family and friends pleading for leniency have already been submitted to the judge.
