Sia’s ex, Bernard, demands monthly spousal support

Daniel Bernard, the estranged husband of Australian singer Sia, has demanded that the singer pays a monthly sum of $250,000 (£187,000) as spousal support.

The duo who tied the knot in 2023 announced their divorce in March 2025, noting that they were separating due to “irreconcilable differences”.

Bernard, however, told the court that he needed monthly allowance to maintain the lifestyle he lived during the marriage.

He also revealed that he was financially dependent on Sia, after he quit his job in the medical field to run a business with her.

The couple share an 18-month-old son.
