Phyna breaks silence after Abuja hotel fight

Reality TV star, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has spoken out following reports of a violent altercation at a hotel in Abuja that allegedly left one person hospitalized.

The Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner confirmed the incident in a post shared on her Instagram page, claiming she was attacked from behind by a group of individuals who came prepared to fight and record the encounter.

Phyna alleged that the video circulating online had been cropped to misrepresent the situation, giving the impression that she was the one assaulted.

According to her, the confrontation started over a dispute involving ₦200,000, and the person she fought with is reportedly still unconscious.

In her words:

“Who I beat dey hospital, dem carry tout come fight and people to record. I was attacked from behind on my way out – dem even crop the video just to twist the story say dem beat me. Make una rest! The girl wey I beat never even regain consciousness. Una dey mad. Pray for me make who I beat no die abeg.”
