The excitement of the UEFA Champions League continued on Wednesday night as several top European clubs battled for crucial points in Matchday 3 of the group stage.

The evening delivered plenty of goals, drama, and standout performances across major football cities.

In Istanbul, Galatasaray delighted their home fans with a 3–1 win over Bodø/Glimt, powered by an outstanding display from Victor Osimhen, who scored twice. Yunus Akgün added the third goal to seal the victory, keeping the Turkish side’s qualification hopes alive.

At the Santiago Bernabéu, Real Madrid edged Juventus 1–0 in a tight contest decided by a single strike.

The win maintains Madrid’s perfect start to the competition as they continue their push for yet another European title.

Elsewhere, Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur played out a goalless draw, with both sides missing opportunities to climb higher in their group.

Bayern Munich showed their trademark dominance, thrashing Club Brugge 4–0, while Chelsea put on a five-star performance to crush Ajax 5–1 at Stamford Bridge, in one of the night’s most commanding displays.

There was also no shortage of goals in Germany, where Liverpool dismantled Eintracht Frankfurt 5–1, asserting their attacking power.

Meanwhile, Sporting CP narrowly defeated Marseille 2–1 in Lisbon, and Athletic Club recorded a strong 3–1 home win against Qarabağ.

In Italy, Atalanta and Slavia Praha shared the spoils in a cagey 0–0 draw.
