Reality TV star and media personality, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed her growing interest in politics, stating that her passion is driven by a desire to promote effective governance and improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
In an interview with BBC Pidgin, Tacha explained that politics affects every aspect of daily life, and meaningful change cannot happen unless individuals with genuine intentions step up to take part in decision-making.
“People always say after God, it’s politics. Truly, one government policy can make or break you,” she said. “If you keep complaining about the system, it only makes sense to get involved and make decisions that will make life easier for people.”

She emphasized that her interest in politics is not for personal gain, but to use her platform to advocate for citizens and hold public office holders accountable.
