Popular Nigerian TikTok personality, Geh Geh, has revealed what he claims to be Wizkid’s powerful secret for maintaining relevance in the ever-competitive music industry.
In a video shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Geh Geh stated that the Grammy-winning star has mastered the art of strategic collaborations and calculated moves that keep him constantly in the spotlight.
According to him, Wizkid doesn’t rush to collaborate directly with trending artists. Instead, he allegedly uses his official disc jockey, DJ Tunez, to make the right industry connections.
“If an artist is trending and everyone wants to feature them, Wizkid doesn’t jump in directly. He contacts DJ Tunez, and Tunez brings Wizkid together with the trending artist,” Geh Geh explained.
He further added that the strategy is smart because it allows Wizkid to maintain control of his brand image and take credit only when the collaboration becomes a hit.
“If the track doesn’t take off, people say it’s Tunez’s song, not Wizkid’s. But if it succeeds, the credit comes back to Wizkid,” he said.
