Why I left Christianity for Islam – Burna Boy

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that despite converting from Christianity to Islam, he is still on a personal quest for spiritual truth.

Speaking in a recent interview with streamer Playboymax, the “Last Last” crooner said that his journey through different religions has only left him with more questions than answers.

“Growing up, I was a Christian and then I converted to Islam. It’s like I’ve studied it all, but I’m still out here trying to find out what is really goi-ng on, you know? The more I research, the more confused I get,” he said.

The singer explained that he has spent time studying religious books and doctrines, seeking clarity about life, faith, and existence, but has not found the ultimate truth he is searching for.
