The Osun State Police Command has launched a search for a 15-year-old boy, Oladosun Abdulmalik, who has been declared missing in the Ilobu area of the state.

According to a statement released on Tuesday by the Osun Police Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Ojelabi, Abdulmalik reportedly left his home near the Ilo Grammar School area on 6 November 2025 and has not been seen since.

“The young boy, whose photograph has been circulated, departed his residence for an unknown destination and has yet to return home,” Ojelabi said, urging anyone with useful information to come forward.

The police described Abdulmalik as dark in complexion, about five feet tall, without tribal marks, and fluent in Yoruba.

Residents and members of the public have been encouraged to assist by reporting any sightings or information about the teenager’s whereabouts to the nearest police station.

Authorities say the command remains committed to reuniting Abdulmalik with his family and ensuring his safe return.
