FIBA- Africa Club Tourney: First Bank Face Angolan Team

After handing down a second defeat to their domestic league arch rivals, First Deepwater, yesterday, former African champions, First Bank of Nigeria, will face their stiffest challenge today as they confront the defending champions, Interclube of Angola in the ongoing 17th FIBA Africa Club Championship for Women at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, by 4p.m.

First Deepwater will also be out to salvage their image after two consecutive defeats as they take on Kenyan Port Authority by 6p.m.

Speaking ahead of the match, Coach Lateef Erinfolami of Deepwater said they are still confident of qualifying for the semi finals in spite of the disappointing two defeats. He stated further that his girls will play today’s match with all seriousness.
