Nigerian social critic, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has spoken out after his physical altercation with entertainer Mr Jollof inside a United Nigeria Airlines aircraft went viral.
Recall that both men were involved in a heated exchange that quickly escalated into a fight while passengers looked on in shock.
In a video shared on his social media page, VDM narrated what happened moments before the clash, accusing Mr Jollof of instigating the confrontation.
According to him, he had approached Jollof inside the aircraft, warning that the comedian might attempt to slap him.
He said:
“I don chop Jollof fada for inside plane. Man wey dey bite — e no shame. E dey bite.”
VDM claimed that after he confronted Jollof, the entertainer allegedly threw the first punch.
“I enter plane, I see am, na im I tell am say today you go slap me o… Na so e punch me. When I follow am, e start to bite me… him eye red,” he recounted.
