BBNaija winner Imisi breaks down as Ijebu orders her to beg her mother

Nollywood comic actor Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, has appealed to Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, to end her ongoing social media clash with her mother and seek reconciliation.

The actor made the plea in a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, addressing the heated public exchange that has trailed Imisi’s recent victory.

Recall that tension escalated shortly after Imisi won the N150 million BBNaija prize money, with her mother releasing a viral video accusing her daughter of abandoning her.

The reality star, however, dismissed the allegations, revealing that their relationship had been strained long before the show. She recounted her difficult childhood, including being sent out of the house at 11, selling fufu to survive, and suffering sexual abuse that led to an abortion at age 13.

“Before I won BBNaija, you would not even call me for one or two years,” Imisi said, questioning her mother’s sudden public outcry. She added that despite their history, she still sent money to her mother shortly before the feud erupted, stressing she could not shoulder the expectations of over 100 family members now looking up to her.

Reacting to the controversy, Ijebu urged Imisi to take the first step toward peace.

“Imisi, I know you are a good girl. The Bible says we should honour our parents,” he said in the video. “This evening or tomorrow morning, visit your mother, go on your knees, hold her legs, and tell her you are sorry. Let her pray for you. No matter what she has done, she is still your mini-god.”
