Nwabali threatens Lege Miami over comment about late father

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has warned popular actor and social media personality, Kehinde Adams, also known as Lege Miami, to stop mentioning his late father in his online rants.

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has warned popular actor and social media personality, Kehinde Adams, also known as Lege Miami, to stop mentioning his late father in his online rants.

Lege Miami had criticised several Super Eagles players over Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Although he praised Victor Osimhen, Benjamin Fredrick and Calvin Bassey, he attacked others — including Nwabali — even after the goalkeeper saved two penalties in the playoff loss to DR Congo.

The entertainer also made remarks referencing Nwabali’s late father, who was recently buried, a move that sparked outrage from the goalkeeper.

Reacting on his Instagram story, Nwabali warned Lege Miami to steer clear of his late father’s name.

He wrote:
“Lege Miami, remove my late dad’s name from your mouth if you are doing your content. If you don’t learn to respect people’s dad, you should respect the dead.
I’m not your regular type of footballer — I go beat you mercilessly. You’re free to insult me, but remove my late dad’s name from your mouth.”

Hours later, Lege Miami reposted Nwabali’s message and insisted the goalkeeper must apologise to Nigerians.

He said:
“@nwabali32 you come to my DM to insult my personality because I corrected your mistakes. All I want to say is that you should make an apology video for Nigerians.”
