Donald Glover breaks silence on having stroke attack on stage

American actor and rapper Donald Glover, popularly known as Childish Gambino, has opened up on suffering from a stroke attack during a stage performance in 2024.

The singer, while speaking during a performance in Los Angeles, revealed that he had to cancel his tour because of his health condition.

“I had a really bad pain in my head in Louisiana and I did the show anyway. I couldn’t really see well, so when we went to Houston, I went to the hospital and the doctor was like, ‘You had a stroke.’ They say everybody has two lives and the second life starts when you realise you have one. You got one life, guys, and I gotta be honest, the life I’ve lived with you guys has been such a blessing,” he explained.

Glover also spoke about the importance of priortising one’s medical needs, explaining that he had to postpone his world tour due to the condition.

“As my wife says, which I love, ‘If this life is the flavour, as soon as I’m done, give me another scoop,”’ he added.
