Peggy Ovire responds to Taye Arimoro’s assault allegations

Nollywood actress and producer Peggy Ovire has reacted to the allegations of physical assault levied against her by her colleague, Taye Arimoro.

The actress, while reacting to the ₦100 million lawsuit filed against her, denied the allegations, stating that they are materially false.

Peggy, in a legal statement, accused Arimoro of assaulting the production manager. She added that he also physically attacked her driver who she claims bled from his ear and nose.

The actress also noted that some people on set who witnessed the heated exchange had already given their statement to the police and confirmed Arimoro’s aggression on set.

The actress revealed that she will not give in to Arimoro’s request of ₦100 million and a public apology, stating that he was the one that attacked first.
