Nkechi Blessing fires back after beauty shaming

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has fired back at an online troll who called her “ugly,” as she confidently shared photos and a video of herself without makeup or filters.

Taking to her Instagram page, the actress posted her bare face to prove a point, but made it clear that she would never stop using filters, and dared anyone who has a problem with it to “go and call the police.”

Nkechi Blessing wrote:

“Today I am posting my face without a filter or even make-up.

But moving forward, nothing go ever stop me from using my filter.

One useless man literally called me UGLY.

It’s not your fault sha, but then I ask—

How does the way I choose to appear on my own page affect your problem?

I dey do hook-up? Any of my customers dey complain to you?

Or you think I don’t go out and people don’t see me?

If e pain una too much, go call police to come arrest me.”

She also seized the moment to promote her new series, urging fans to subscribe to Nkechi Blessing TV to watch “Our Love Story.”

The actress has recently been vocal about online trolling. Earlier, she slammed someone who marriage-shamed her, wondering why people assume celebrities should tolerate constant attacks on their personal lives.

Nkechi also called out a person who posted an unflattering gym picture of her, noting that “you cannot disgrace a woman clothed with grace.”
