The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has trained selected youths in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on solar-powered cold storage and agri-tech solutions.
The training, conducted in partnership with Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Ltd, aligns with NCDMB’s goal of developing local capacity and promoting sustainable development in the oil and gas sector.
It is also part of the Board’s wider efforts to empower youths, foster sustainable development, and explore opportunities in renewable energy and agricultural technology.
Participants were equipped with the skills necessary to harness solar energy for cold storage and agri-tech solutions, enabling them to apply these technologies in practical, income-generating ways.
At the closing ceremony in Abeokuta on Friday, the CEO of Oke-Eze Increase Nigeria Ltd, Eze Ella, expressed gratitude for NCDMB’s partnership.
He highlighted that the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, economic growth, and local content development in Nigeria.
Ella added that the training would have a lasting impact on the participants, equipping them with skills to generate income and improve their livelihoods.
