English singer and songwriter Jessica Ellen Cornish, popularly known as Jessie J, has opened up on experiencing a stroke at the age of 17.
The singer, while speaking with The Guardian in an interview, revealed that the incident occurred when she just got her first record deal.

“I just got my first record deal, and I had a stroke. I was on the train, and my face dropped. I was in hospital for four to five weeks. Then when I was about to put out music in 2020. I had a car crash and my larynx moved up and I couldn’t sing for a year. I’ve clearly got an addiction to being diagnosed with things. So maybe the cancer is part of that,” she stated jokingly.
