NDA alerts Kaduna residents of shooting exercise

NDA warns residents of communities of Afaka general area of Kaduna State not to trespass in its shooting range between Wednesday and Friday

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has alerted residents of communities Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya and Afaka general area of Kaduna State that it will conduct an ‘Advance Application of Fire for of 75 Regular Course’ in its shooting range in the area between Wednesday and Friday

The spokesperson for the NDA , Maj. Reuben Kovangiya, made the announcement in a statement issued on Wednesday in Kaduna.

The NDA therefore advised residents of the communities to avoid trespassing the general area throughout the period of the exercise.

Kovangiya said, “NDA wishes to inform the public especially inhabitants of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya and Afaka general area, that it will be conducting an exercise on advance application of fire for Cadets of 75 Regular Course.”

He said the he exercise has been scheduled to hold between Wednesday and Friday at the NDA Open Range, Afaka.

“The NDA assures the public that all the necessary safety measures have been put in place for the successful conduct of the exercise.

“However, the public is advised to avoid trespassing the general area throughout the period of the exercise.

“Please accept the highest consideration and esteemed regards of the Commandant Nigerian Defence Academy, Maj.-Gen. Oluyemi Olatoye,” Kovangiya said.
