Oladeji noted that Accord is currently the best political home for any serious politician seeking office.

The Accord Party says it would be glad to welcome Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State into its party as he pursues a second term in office, PM news has gathered.

The party’s Lagos State Chairman, Dele Oladeji, made the statement on Wednesday in Lagos. This comes after Governor Adeleke resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to ongoing leadership disputes.

Adeleke, who is preparing for the 2026 governorship election, is reportedly looking for a more stable political platform for his re-election bid.

Oladeji described Accord as the most organised and dependable party for Adeleke to contest under.

“We are waiting for his declaration. That is all we can say for now,” he said. “Whenever he decides to join the Accord Party, we are fully ready to receive him.”

He added that Accord has no internal conflict, no godfather influence, and no structural problems.

“Accord is stable and well-organised. We have no factions and no godfathers. Any candidate who joins us between now and 2027 is assured of a peaceful and reliable structure,” he said.

Oladeji noted that Accord is currently the best political home for any serious politician seeking office.

“If he joins us, we will work with him and support him to succeed,” he added.
