Singer calls on pastors to ‘free’ 2Baba from marriage trouble

Nigerian singer Damian Wan, popularly known as Afro Casano, has offered a reward of ₦1 million to any pastor who can help resolve the ongoing marital issues between music legend 2Baba and his wife, Natasha.

Damian made the announcement on Saturday via his X (Twitter) account, stating his willingness to support the singer during what appears to be a turbulent period.

He wrote:
“I, Damian Wan, am ready to give any pastor the sum of one million naira to help us set the great legend 2Baba free. If you can do it, please send me a DM.”

His offer comes amid heightened tension between 2Baba and Natasha, which became public during their recent vacation in the United Kingdom. The situation worsened after the couple had a disagreement during a live Instagram session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, forcing the session to end abruptly.

Clips from the altercation quickly circulated online, prompting widespread concern from fans who questioned the singer’s well-being and speculated about deeper issues within the marriage.

In response to the public buzz, 2Baba appealed to Nigerians to stop criticizing his wife, insisting that couples naturally experience disagreements and assuring fans that he was fine despite the drama.

Recall that talent manager Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, had advised 2Baba to seek therapy and professional support. Teebillz shared an old photo of himself with the singer while recounting a past encounter that highlighted their longstanding friendship.
