Tiwa Savage hits major streaming milestone

Nigerian singer and song-writer Tiwatope Omolara Savage, popularly known as Tiwa Savage, has hit a major streaming milestone in her career.

The 45-year-old, often regarded as the ‘Queen of Afrobeats’, has hit the 800 million stream mark on Spotify, joining the list of top artists with over 500 million streams.

The announcement made by The Debut Hub  on X, noted that she has become the third Nigerian female artist to reach this milestone.

”Tiwa Savage has now surpassed 800 MILLION streams across all credits on Spotify! — She becomes the 24th Nigerian artist to reach this milestone (3rd female),” the post stated.

The list, topped by Wizkid, has Tens in the top four position with 4.33Billion streams. This made her the first Nigerian female artist with over 4 Billion streams.
