Lizzo reacts after being exonerated of fat-shaming allegations

American singer and rapper Melissa Viviane Jefferson, popularly known as Lizzo has celebrated being vindicated of the fat-shaming lawsuit levied against her.

The singer who was accused of fat-shaming three of her employees, stated that she only fired the dancers because they shared private videos taken without her consent.

Lizzo on her Instagram page, also noted that her action against the dancers was in no way connected to their weight or appearance.

“There was no evidence that I fired them because they gained weight. They were fired for taking a private recording of me without my consent and sending it off to ex-employees,” she stated.

The 37-year-old, however still faces a case of sexual harassment filed against her by her former dancers
