Bill Clinton demands full release of Epstein files, gives reason

Clinton, wife endorse Kamala Harris for presidential race
Former US President Bill Clinton

Former United States President Bill Clinton has called on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all remaining files linked to late financier Jeffrey Epstein, following the recent publication of documents that reportedly included multiple images of him.

Clinton, in a statement issued through his spokesman on Monday, said the partial release of the files raises serious concerns about transparency, adding that “someone or something is being protected.”

“We need no such protection,” the former president said.

He specifically urged Attorney General Pam Bondi to “immediately release any remaining materials referring to, mentioning, or containing a photograph of Bill Clinton.”

Clinton accused the DOJ of making selective disclosures aimed at suggesting wrongdoing by individuals who, according to him, have already been cleared by the same department over several years.

He warned that failure to release the full records would strengthen public suspicion that the process is driven by insinuation rather than transparency.

His comments came amid growing criticism from alleged victims of Epstein. A group of 19 victims and survivors accused the DOJ of mishandling the release of the files, claiming that thousands of documents and photographs are still being withheld from the public.

The group also alleged that the DOJ violated the Epstein Files Transparency Act by holding back large volumes of records and failing to properly protect the identities of survivors.

The controversy continues to stir debate in the US as pressure mounts on the DOJ to make a full disclosure of all Epstein-related materials.
