‘Withdraw all lawsuits against Sen. Natasha’ Akpabio directs lawyers

The Nigerian Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has announced that he plans to withdraw all pending lawsuits against Senator Natasha and other individuals.

While speaking during a New Year service at Sacred Heart Parish, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Akpabio revealed that he felt the need to make the move after listening to the sermon delivered by the Priest.

He stated that although the individuals involved in the court cases tried to defame him, he will be withdrawing all the lawsuits against them. He also stated that he felt the need to forgive all those involved.

“I had almost nine cases in court against some individuals who defamed me, who lied against me and slandered my name. But as I listened to the priest, I suddenly realised he was speaking to me. Therefore, I hereby direct my solicitors to withdraw all lawsuits against them,” he stated.
