Family announces burial plans for Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola

The family of late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has announced her burial plans.

In a statement shared online by her cousin, Muyiwa Ademola, the family said a Service of Songs will hold on Thursday, January 8, followed by a candlelight procession. The actress will be laid to rest on Friday, January 9, at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.

The statement also included a dress code for attendees. A customised T-shirt will be provided for the Service of Songs, while guests are asked to wear white shirts and jeans for the burial.

Allwell Ademola, who died on December 27 at the age of 49, reportedly suffered a heart attack at her home. The news of her passing was confirmed by several colleagues on social media.

Actors including Damola Olatunji, Mr Latin, Faithia Williams, and Bidemi Kosoko were among the first to publicly mourn her death.

The family expressed gratitude for the support, prayers, and condolences they have received and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.
