The announcement was made via a statement posted on the Nigerian Army’s official X handle on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the programme is open to both civilians and serving military personnel who possess relevant professional qualifications.

Successful candidates will be commissioned into specialised corps of the Nigerian Army, where their skills will be deployed in support of national defence and security operations.

The available corps include the Nigerian Army Engineers, Nigerian Army Signals, Nigerian Army Medical Corps, Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, and the Nigerian Army Education Corps, among others.

The Army stressed that applications are free of charge and must be completed online.

The recruitment portal will be open from January 7 to February 4, 2026.

Interested applicants have been advised to apply early and ensure all information submitted is accurate.
