American Rapper Willie Junior Maxwell II, popularly known has Fetty Wap has been released from a federal jail after spending three years in prison.

The rapper who was sentenced to six years after being found guilty of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, was moved out of a federal prison in Sandstone, Minnesota, on Wednesday.

He expressed his appreciation to his friends, fans and family for their support. The 30-year-old was placed under home confinement for the rest of his sentence.

“I want to thank my family, friends, and fans for the love, prayers, and continued support — it truly means everything to me. Right now, my focus is on giving back through my community initiatives and foundation, supporting at-risk young children by expanding access to education, early tech skills, and vision care for young kids and students so they can show up as their best selves. I’m committed to moving forward with purpose and making a meaningful impact where it matters most,” Fetty Wap told CNN.
