A neighbour of late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has shared an emotional account of the actress’s final moments before her death.

The neighbour, whose identity was not disclosed, spoke during a recent interview on a YouTube podcast hosted by fellow Nollywood actress Abiola Adebayo, recounting the distressing events that unfolded on the day Ademola was rushed out of her residence.

According to the neighbour, it took more than 30 minutes for the actress to open her door as she struggled to dress herself, unaware that her condition would eventually lead to her death.

“I kept begging her to open the door. It took almost over 30 minutes because it was difficult for her to put on her gown,” the neighbour said.

She explained that had the actress known the situation would become fatal, she would not have minded neighbours breaking down the door to reach her.

“If she had known it was going to end in death, she wouldn’t have cared if we broke the door. She was just trying to cover herself,” she added.

The neighbour disclosed that about five to six people eventually carried Ademola into a car to rush her to the hospital. Due to panic and confusion, she said she personally drove the vehicle, despite rarely doing so.

“I had to drive the car myself. I don’t usually drive out of the gate, but that day, I don’t know where the strength came from. I drove very fast,” she recounted.

She noted that residents around the Pipeline area, where the actress lived, immediately sensed something was wrong because of the urgency surrounding the situation.

“It was that bad. Even now, it still feels like a dream, especially when I see her belongings around,” the neighbour said.
