Legendary fashion designer, Valentino Garavani has passed away at the age of 93. The popular Italian designer was reported to have passed away on Monday at his residence in Rome.
The family announced that the lying in state for Valentino Garavani will be held at Piazza Mignanelli on Wednesday, January 21, 2025, and Thursday, January 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The designer, famously known for his signature red colour and ultra-feminine designs studied at École des Beaux-Arts and Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, honing his craft at Jean Dessés and Guy Laroche at the age of 17.
He proceeded to open his fashion house in 1960 in Rome and made his international debut in Florence in 1962.
