A Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has ordered Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, social media influencer Very Dark Man, and one Kelvin Chimaobi Emmanuel to stop releasing or circulating videos, pictures or any materials relating to Pastor Chris Okafor on social media or other platforms.
Justice Akintunde Savage gave the order on Thursday while ruling on an ex parte application filed by Pastor Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation International, also known as Liberation City.
The court further restrained the defendants from mentioning or referring to the cleric or his ministry, either orally or in writing, on any platform pending the determination of the substantive suit.
Justice Savage also barred the defendants and their agents from publishing, releasing or circulating any alleged private materials relating to the claimant, including chats, conversations, text messages, pictures, images or videos, especially materials allegedly intended to blackmail or extort money from him.
Pastor Okafor is the claimant in the suit marked ID/14399GCMW/2026, while Doris Ogala, VeryDarkMan and Kelvin Emmanuel are listed as the first, second and third defendants respectively.
The application was brought pursuant to Order 43, Rules 1, 2 and 7 of the High Court of Lagos State (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019, as well as under the court’s inherent jurisdiction.
In his ruling, Justice Savage also granted an order for substituted service of the originating processes, including the writ of summons, list of witnesses and other court documents, through publication in a national newspaper.
The case has been adjourned to February 2, 2026, for hearing.
