The organisers of the African Creators Summit (ACS) have announced popular content creators Nons Miraj and Craze Clown as hosts for the third edition of the summit, scheduled to hold on January 29, 2026.
The summit, regarded as one of the continent’s leading gatherings for digital creators and creative industry stakeholders, will be held under the theme “Building a Sustainable Ecosystem, Where Africa Trades Its SWAG.” The theme reflects a growing focus on transforming African cultural expression into sustainable economic value within the global creative economy.
According to the organising committee, the choice of hosts aligns with the summit’s emphasis on Africa’s cultural capital, represented through the “SWAG” framework—Sound, Walk, Attire, and Grubs, as vehicles for global influence and trade.
Meet the Hosts: The Faces of ACS 3.0
Craze Clown, whose real name is Dr. Emmanuel Iwueke, is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Africa’s Instagram comedy movement. A medical doctor turned full-time content creator, actor, and host, he gained prominence through his long-running “Papa Ade” character and has since evolved into a leading figure in digital storytelling. His recent project, The Therapist, has further strengthened his relevance within the creative ecosystem.
Nons Miraj, also known as Chinonso Ukah, is a comedian, actress, and digital personality best known for her popular alter egos “Ada Jesus” and “The Mother-in-Law.” Her distinctive comedic style and storytelling ability have positioned her as one of the most recognisable figures in African digital media, a reputation further reinforced by her recent relationship-based game show, Hunt Games.
Beyond entertainment, the hosts are expected to play a central role in shaping conversations throughout the summit. They will lead the “SWAG Conversations,” moderate interviews with industry leaders, and facilitate transitions between keynote sessions, panel discussions, and creative exhibitions.
Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Oladapo Adewunmi, popularly known as Apollo, the convener of the African Creators Summit, said Craze Clown and Nons Miraj embody the summit’s vision of African creativity as an economic force.
“Africa is no longer just consuming global culture; we are trading our creativity and exporting our identity. Craze Clown and Nons Miraj represent how African ‘SWAG’ can be converted into global value,” Apollo said.
ACS 3.0 is expected to convene leading content creators, media executives, technology innovators, and cultural stakeholders from across Africa, as well as participants from Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. The programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions on artificial intelligence and digital monetisation, creative exhibitions, and extensive media engagement.
Registration for the summit is currently open, with opportunities available for creators, volunteers, sponsors, and strategic partners.
