Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said that Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, is fully aware of what he needs to do if he wants to avoid impeachment.
Olayinka made the statement during an interview on The Morning Brief, a popular television programme on Channels Television, which was monitored by PM News

Olayinka emphasized that the move to impeach Fubara is not being orchestrated by Wike, but is entirely the decision of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
He added, “Governor Fubara knows what steps to take if he does not want to be removed from office.
Politics requires careful navigation. He should act wisely and strategically rather than appearing to be helpless or complaining about the situation.”
