In an emotional message shared on social media, Nwabali said:
“It was more than a family❤️. To my lovely teammates, dear coaches, amazing fans and great chairman. As I stand here to say farewell, a part of me will always remain with this club. I wish you success and happiness in the seasons ahead. Thank you and farewell. Until we meet again.”
The 29-year-old shot-stopper had signed a three-year contract extension in 2024, but the club confirmed it agreed to his request to leave. Chippa United also praised Nwabali for his dedication, professionalism, and commitment, saying his contributions will always be remembered.
Nwabali has not disclosed his next destination, and it remains unclear whether he has joined another club or is currently a free agent.
