Nollywood star Bimbo Ademoye makes life-changing promise after her viral movie hits millions

Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has announced plans to fulfil a personal promise following the success of her 2025 film, Broken Hallelujah.

In a video currently trending online, Ademoye revealed that before releasing Broken Hallelujah in April 2025, she made a vow to God: if the movie reached a significant viewership milestone, she would do something to positively impact someone’s life.

While the film has over 11 million views on YouTube, short of the 20 million she initially hoped for, another movie released later in 2025 achieved strong success.

Ademoye described this as God’s way of answering her prayers, saying the blessing didn’t have to come from Broken Hallelujah alone.

Speaking emotionally, Bimbo Ademoye confirmed that she has decided to fund an IVF procedure for one person, fulfilling the promise she made. “Even if it is not Broken Hallelujah, it is another project that has answered my prayer,” she explained.

“The impact of the movie on viewers and the messages I continue to receive confirmed to me that this promise must be honoured,” she said in the video. She added that the gesture will help change one person’s life, though she has kept the specifics private for now.
