Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has expressed deep grief following the death of her mother, describing her world as “dark and broken” as she continues to mourn the painful loss.

The veteran Yoruba actress had earlier announced during the weekend that her mother passed away on the eve of her 55th birthday celebration, a loss she said had left her devastated.

She revealed that her late mother was not just a parent but also her cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner.

Taking to her Instagram page, Faithia shared a dark photo and poured out her emotions, writing simply, “My world is dark and broken.”

The heartbreaking post drew an outpouring of sympathy from her colleagues and fans in the entertainment industry.

Actress Lola Margaret urged her to take heart, writing that her mother is in a better place.
