CeraVe has announced the opening of registration for CerAwards 2026: The CeramoVE Edition, a creative initiative aimed at spotlighting Nigerian digital storytellers and celebrating the evolution of Nollywood in the global content landscape.
The programme is designed to highlight the transition of Nollywood from the home-video era to the modern streaming age while empowering a new generation of creators. It will culminate in an awards gala scheduled to hold in Lagos, where selected creators will be recognised and celebrated.
According to the organisers, winners of the competition will receive an invitation to participate in the 2026 CeraVe Creator Trip, joining top creators from different parts of the world.
To participate in the competition, organisers said creators are required to recreate an iconic Nollywood movie scene in under 60 seconds, integrate CeraVe products into the storyline, and submit their entries via TikTok and Instagram using the hashtags #CerAwards, #CeramoVE, and #Cerave, alongside uploading their submission links on the official website.
Competition categories
Entries will be evaluated by a jury comprising industry professionals across three categories:
Best Original Content, focusing on creativity, humour, and compelling storytelling
Best Educational Content, recognising clear communication of skin-barrier science and the role of the three essential ceramides
Best Routine Content, highlighting practical facial and body care demonstrations suitable for different skin types
Entry requirements
The organisers stated that participation is open to digital creators with a minimum of 1,000 followers on both Instagram and TikTok. They added that all submissions must present verified skin-health information, noting that inaccurate or misleading claims would lead to disqualification.
Registration for the competition is scheduled to close on March 23, 2026, while further participation details are available on the official CerAwards portal.
