Cristiano Ronaldo has rejoined the Al-Nassr FC squad ahead of their Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Fateh SC on Saturday.
The 41-year-old forward is set to make his first appearance for the club after staging a brief protest against the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which oversees several top Saudi clubs.
Ronaldo had missed two consecutive league fixtures against Al-Riyadh SC and Al-Ittihad Club, reportedly expressing dissatisfaction with aspects of the club’s management.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star called off his protest earlier this week. However, he did not travel with the team to Turkmenistan for their AFC Champions League Two encounter against Arkadag FK.
Ronaldo is now part of the Al-Nassr squad that has arrived in Al-Hofuf for the league fixture, which will take place at the Maydan Tamweel Aloula Stadium.
The Knights of Najd will be aiming to close the gap on league leaders Al-Hilal SFC as they continue their push for the Saudi Pro League title.
