Nigerian socialite and barman, Cubana Chief Priest has defended his decision to support President Bola Tinubu in the coming elections.
The entrepreneur, on his Instagram page, addressed the backlash he received, explaining that Nigerians have to put sentiments and tribe aside when considering the progress of the country. Chief Priest addressed the claims that he was betraying his tribe, explaining that Yoruba men support Peter Obi .
“If an Igbo man supporting Tinubu is a betrayal, what is a Yoruba man supporting Obi? We can only be Nigerians for us to prosper in Nigeria,” he wrote.
He explained that his decision was not born out of sentiments or personal gain but because he genuinely believes in Tinubu’s plans for Nigeria.
“Tinubu SERVED! Leaving Tinubu to support any other candidate is like not looking both ways before crossing the road. Follow who know road, stay with person who gets structure so that you sef fit tap in,” he added.
