Mirabel: Actress Etinosa blasts false r@pe accusers

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Etinosa Idemudia, has stirred reactions online after advocating strict punishment for individuals who make false r@pe allegations.

The actress, who is a mother of one, shared her position in an Instagram post on Thursday, saying the “boy child” also deserves protection and justice in cases of sexual assault claims.

According to her, false accusations can ruin lives and reputations, insisting that people who deliberately mislead the public with such allegations should face imprisonment.

“The boy child needs protection just as much as the girl child. End false allegations today!
I recommend jail time for false accusers,” she wrote.

Her comment comes in the wake of the viral case involving TikToker Mirabel, who had alleged that she was r@ped in her apartment in Ogijo area of Ogun State. The claim sparked outrage across social media and triggered widespread calls for justice.

However, the situation later took a different turn after Mirabel withdrew the allegation and admitted that parts of her story were untrue.

Following the development, the Ogun State Police Command confirmed that investigations are ongoing and hinted that legal action could follow after the completion of her medical care.
