source close to the federation said Chelle still has one year left on his current contract. The new demands are believed to be part of negotiations for a possible contract renewal.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reacted to new demands reportedly made by Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle, saying he already has good accommodation in Abuja.

According to reports, Chelle recently made a 19-point request as part of discussions about his future with the team. Among his demands are a monthly salary of $130,000, a private SUV with a driver, and dedicated security.

He also asked for a house with constant 24-hour electricity and a fully furnished office. The office, he reportedly said, should have a projector for tactical analysis and reliable internet to help with modern coaching work.

However, the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said Chelle already has a well-furnished apartment in Abuja, as well as a car and a driver.

“Chelle has accommodation, a car and a driver,” Sanusi stated.

Sanusi did not give further details about the other requests. It was gathered that the NFF is still considering whether to enter into discussions with Chelle, especially over his proposed salary increase.

A source close to the federation said Chelle still has one year left on his current contract. The new demands are believed to be part of negotiations for a possible contract renewal.

The matter is expected to be reviewed by the NFF’s technical committee before any decision is presented to the board for approval.
