Deji Adeyanju makes strong claims about Egbetokun

Nigerian lawyer, Deji Adeyanju has made bold claims about the immediate past Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

While speaking about his removal, Adeyanju claimed that Egbetokun created enemies for President Bola Tinubu during his time in the Police command.

He stressed the need for leaders and power holders to recognise that positions do not last forever, adding that Karma comes for people once they are out of government.

“Egbetokun inherited so many enemies for his principal, President Bola Tinubu. As a public office holder, you should know that you will never be in power forever. Karma has come for Malami, El-Rufai and Egbetokun. Karma is going to come for many of them that will soon be out of government,” he stated.

Adeyanju urged leaders and officers to circumspect when dealing with citizens, adding that they should not use their position to victimize people.

‘We must always circumspect when dealing with citizens. Many of them like Egbetokun used their offices to victimize people,” he added
