Joke Silva opens up on advantages of marrying older men

Nollywood veteran Joke Silva, has opened up on the advantages of marrying older men. The actress who is currently married to Olu Jacobs, explained that older men allows women to get away with a lot of things.

While speaking with TVC’s Your View, the 64-year-old spoke about her marriage, revealing that it was not love at first sight for her.

Joke Silva noted that she was not aware of the age gap between herself and Olu Jacobs when they first met because he looked good.

“Yes we met on stage, and when we met on a movie set, everybody knew it was the great Olu Jacob who was coming, except me. When he came, we got on very well and it was after we started dating that I discovered his age because he looked so good. For him, it was love at first sight but for me, it wasn’t. This older men allows you to get away with a lot of things,” she stated.

The actress tied the knot when she was 24years-old to Olu Jacob who was 44 at that time. They have two children together.
