Rivers: Gov Fubara unveils 9 new commissioner nominees

Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, has forwarded a list of nine commissioner nominees to the Rivers State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

Mr. Tonye Bellgam
Professor Temple Nwofor
Dr. Peters Nwagor
Mrs. Charity Deemua
Tamuno Williams, Esq.
Mr. Lekue Kenneth
Otonye TKD Amachree, Esq.
Sir Amairigha Edward Hart
Some of the nominees are known professionals in their respective fields. Professor Alasia, for instance, is a former Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Rivers State chapter and a consultant respiratory physician.
The documentation exercise signals the next stage in the legislative process, as lawmakers prepare to screen and possibly confirm the nominees to serve in various ministries across the state.
