Asake surprises mother with G-Wagon worth $230,000

Nigerian singer and rapper, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has warmed hearts on social media after surprising his mother with a brand-new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

According to reports circulating online, the luxury vehicle is valued at approximately $230,000.

A video making the rounds on social media captured the emotional moment the award-winning artiste presented the car to his mother. In the clip, she appeared overwhelmed with joy as she embraced her son while admiring the new vehicle.

The generous gesture comes in the spirit of Ramadan, with fans praising the singer for honouring his mother in a grand way.

Recently, Asake and his mother paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife.

Sharing moments from the visit, the monarch expressed delight at welcoming the singer back home, noting that Asake spent part of his formative years in Ife. He also commended the singer’s mother for being a steadfast pillar in his life.

In addition, Asake was spotted at a supercar event in Accra, Ghana, where he met with Ghana’s President, John Mahama. The two were seen exchanging pleasantries during the event.

Asake rose to prominence with hit songs such as Mr Money and Omo Ope, featuring Olamide, and has since become one of Nigeria’s leading Afrobeats stars.
