Manager reacts to reports of divorce between Simi, Adekunle Gold

The manager Nigerian singer Simi, has reacted to the claims of a divorce between the singer and her husband, Adekunle Gold.

The divorce claims was made in a document which circulated social media. It stated that the couple’s marriage had “irretrievably broken down”, citing emotional, financial and professional control as the reasons behind the separation.

Simi’s manager, Vincent, however, revealed that the reports are false and misleading. He pointed out irregularities in the document, noting that stage names are not tenable in any court of justice worldwide.

“It’s fake and fabricated. First, stage names are not tenable in any court of justice worldwide, as indicated in the document. Even the suit number on the document is backdated to 2024 (SUIT NO HCL/FC/2024/0178),” he said.
