Former Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has dismissed reports claiming he plans to return to European football, saying he is fully focused on playing in Nigeria.

The experienced forward was recently linked with a move to Kazakhstani club FC Kaysar, which sparked speculation that he might leave Nigeria again. The rumours grew stronger after the club signed Musa’s former Super Eagles teammate Victor Moses.

However, sources close to the player said there are no discussions about Musa moving abroad.

Instead, the 31-year-old remains committed to Kano Pillars, where he currently serves both as a senior player and the club’s General Manager.

Musa is determined to help the club return to its former glory and become competitive again in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

At the moment, Kano Pillars are struggling in the lower half of the league table and are working hard to avoid relegation this season. Musa’s decision to stay shows his long-term commitment to rebuilding the team and improving its performance.

Before returning to Nigeria, Musa had a successful career in Europe, playing in leagues in Russia, England and Turkey. His most recent European club was Sivasspor in the Turkish top division.
