Nollywood actress turned evangelist Tonto Dikeh has stirred reactions online after videos surfaced showing her conducting prayers and deliverance sessions for students during an outreach at a public school.

In clips shared on her Instagram page, the actress was seen praying fervently with students and leading a deliverance session as part of an evangelism programme.

Sharing details of the experience, Tonto Dikeh revealed that she believes God delivered her from what she described as the “marine world” so she could become an instrument used to help others.

According to her, the outreach took a dramatic turn when she sensed what she described as a “spirit of death” hovering around the environment shortly after the evangelism exercise.

She explained that while leaving the school premises, she alerted members of her team about the spiritual impression and they immediately began to pray.

“In less than two minutes, a young girl ran up to me asking for prayers. She said she had been seeing bats appearing around her repeatedly,” she wrote.

The actress said her team prayed for the student, adding that she believes the prayers brought spiritual deliverance.

Tonto Dikeh also disclosed that the girl had earlier given her life to Christ during the outreach, describing the moment as powerful and timely.

The actress further revealed that over 100 students reportedly accepted Christianity during the programme.

She used the opportunity to appreciate her spiritual mentors, Jerry Eze and Eno Jerry Eze, for guiding her spiritual journey and encouraging her ministry work.

Tonto Dikeh recently announced a new phase of her life, asking the public to address her as Evangelist Tonto Dikeh, after revealing she had dropped the “King” title she previously used.

The actress has increasingly embraced a Christian lifestyle in recent months, sharing testimonies about her spiritual transformation and participation in discipleship training.

She has also been involved in several faith-based outreach activities, including visits to hospitals where she prayed for patients and offered support to children and women.
